2006 Barbera, Lake County, California

These exceptional Barbera grapes are harvested from St. Olof Vineyards near Clear Lake in Lake County in Northern California. Lake County is just over the ridge line from the Northern Napa Valley, but has its own unique climate with conditions that produce an outstanding Barbera grape.

Carruth Cellars imports these exceptional Barbera grapes to the Solana Beach Winery on Cedros where they are crushed, barreled, aged and bottled to produce a rich, smooth and velvety wine that is admired by many loyal wine fanciers.
