2006 Lake County, Red Hills Cabernet Sauvignon

Carruth Cellars carefully selected these special Cabernet grapes from Fortress Vineyards in Lake County, California. This unique vineyard is located in the Red Hills area above Clear Lake which is prized for its rich volcanic soil.

The year 2006 was the premiere Cabernet harvest for Fortress Vineyards and it produced an exceptional grape. Carruth Cellars imported these grapes to the Solana Beach Winery on Cedros where they were artfully crushed, barreled, aged and bottled.
