California Red Wine Varietals:
Zinfandel
Carruth Cellars Wines presents:
2007 Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California
These Zinfandel grapes are grown at the Chiquita Road Vineyard in the famous Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, California. These rare old vine grapes were planted 30 years ago and have been neglected enough over the years to yield some amazingly complex fruit. The harvest is carefully orchestrated at peak ripeness to preserve those wonderful qualities.
Carruth Cellars imports these exceptional Zin grapes to the Solana Beach Winery on Cedros where they are crushed, barreled, aged and bottled. The results are a deliciously intense and well balanced Zinfandel wine with an extraordinary diversity of flavors only found in grapes harvested from such old growth vines. For more information about this exceptional Sonoma Valley Zinfandel please see the pdf document below.
The Tasting Room is open now Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 9:00. Or you can locate a wine store near you that offers this exceptional Sonoma Valley Zin and other fine Carruth Cellars Wines please see the Wine Stores page.
